Black Market Jazz Orchestra was originally formed in 1993 to record a CD entitled "Art Attack" for Sea Breeze records. BMJO quickly became popular playing Art & Wine festivals and doing Music Clinics in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Music Clinics are for Intermediate and High Schools teaching young adults the art of playing Jazz. This is largely possible due Yamaha Musical Instrument Corporation and its endorsement of Band Leader Jeff Nuss.
