A special event as part of the 17th Other Minds Festival of New Music Wednesday, February 29, 7:30pm The LAB 2948 16th Street San Francisco $20 general / $12 students Other Minds brings back the Fellowship concert, featuring Rootstock Percussion, and presented in partnership with The LAB. Emerging composers D. Edward Davis, John P. Hastings, Peter Swendsen, and Jen Wang were selected to participate in a special 8-day residency, associated with the Other Minds Festival. As Fellows they'll take part in lecture-presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and seminars, and have the opportunity to spend ample time with this year's featured OM composers. The experience culminates in this concert, with works by each of the Fellows performed by Rootstock, the Bay Area's top trio of percussionists: Chris Froh, Dan Kennedy, and Loren Mach.
